Master!!! :)

É oficial, sou Mestre (à antiga)! E com nota máxima segundo o meu orientador. Parabéns a mim! :) Quero agradecer a todos os que se lembraram e pelas mensagens de apoio. Realmente tive sorte com o Júri, todos impecáveis. Aliás, a partir do momento que dava aulas na Escola de Tecnologias Navais e era dos Açores a empatia estabeleceu-se com o arguente. LOL Small world, indeed.. A partir do momento de ele disse que a minha tese estava "Estupenda", eu respirei e disse.. "Estou safo!" :)

Aproveito e transcrevo os agradecimentos da minha tese (sim, foi escrita em inglês):

I sincerely thank my supervisor Dr. Nuno Cavalheiro Marques for his guidance, collaboration and comments regarding this thesis and publication made. He has given me enough intellectual rope to almost hang myself and I truly hope to be able to continue working with him in the future.

Most of all, an emotional THANK YOU to my parents and family for all their unconditional support and for making me the man that I am today. Without them, none of this would have been possible.

I also thank Superior School of Technology of the Polytechnic Institute of Setubal for providing me a wonderful job, teaching future engineers as myself, while allowing me to have the necessary time to write this thesis. It's a gratifying job and knowledge is really of no good if it can't be shared with others.

To all my close friends for giving me some of the best moments of my life that I will treasure forever.
